According to Jim "Pistol Pete" Petersen, James Cooksey Earp died in this house at 9:45 PM on January 25, 1926. Pistol Pete is the one with the bad back sitting on the front porch. Image courtesy Petersen Collection. 

James Earp's address was removed from the PERMIT FOR REMOVAL AND BURIAL to prevent vultures from picking on the house.
